Kallie is a highly respected award winning Specialist Orthodontist, greatly passionate about her work, and always striving for clinical excellence. She is specialises in an extensive range of orthodontic treatments from the more conventional fixed appliances and self-ligating systems to the aesthetic treatment options. Kallie is an Invisalign certified practitioner.

She graduated from Manchester University Dental School in 2001 where, as a high achieving student, she received several awards which led her to receive her degree with honours.

Following this Kallie gained an extensive postgraduate education, having worked in a number of different dental sectors which included: General Dental Practice; Oral & Maxillofacial surgery; Community Dentistry; Dentistry for Children with special Needs; and, in Dental Hospital, as Senior House Officer for Restorative and Paediatric Dentistry. This shaped Kallies’ future career path and moved her closer to achieving her dream of becoming an Orthodontist one day.

In 2004, Kallie was awarded Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal college of Surgeons of England. In 2006, she gained a place on the Orthodontic Specialist Training Programme at Liverpool University Dental Hospital.  In 2009, she qualified as a Specialist Orthodontist and was awarded a prize by the British Orthodontic Society recognizing the excellent quality of her work. In the same year, she was awarded a Masters in Dental Science with distinction from Liverpool Dental Hospital.

Kallie’s other professional interests include the treatment of complex dentofacial anomalies requiring combined orthodontic and jaw surgery procedures to improve dental function and facial aesthetics. She spends one day per week treating complex cases in hospital as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

She is a member of the British Dental Association (BDA), British Orthodontic Society (BOS) and European Journal of Orthodontics.  She is active with continuous professional development, regularly attending courses and meetings keeping her up to date with latest technologies and innovations in orthodontic treatment.

In her spare time she leads an active life style. She enjoys exploring the countryside, mountain walking, swimming and dancing.  She also loves spending time in the kitchen polishing up her cooking skills and testing them on her family and friends.

Kallie’s reward from her work is giving her patients a perfect smile to be proud of!
