What qualifications do orthodontists have?

Firstly, all orthodontists must have a dental degree (BDS). Secondly, they must have postgraduate orthodontic training to specialise in orthodontics. After a few years of clinical practice and completing a postgraduate program to acquire FDS or MFDS, they must attend a three-year full time orthodontic specialist training leading to the M.Orth qualification.
