Oscar Receives New Angel Aligners!

Oscar came to us with an 11mm overjet, which was affecting his ability to eat comfortably and putting his front teeth at a greater risk of chipping or breaking. With many children, the appearance can often affect self-esteem.

To overcome Oscar’s orthodontic issues, Dr Khurana created a treatment plan using Angel Aligners with mandibular advancement, supported by elastics. This achieved correction and alignment.

Rather than opting for conventional treatment, which typically involves Twin Block appliances followed by fixed braces and takes around two and a half to three years, Oscar’s treatment plan achieved the same results using aligners alone.

In just 13 months, Oscar achieved excellent results, with successful mandibular advancement and alignment, a fraction of the time conventional treatment would typically take.
